Hi everyone, this episode featuring Vanguard and Phoenix is SUPER LATE and I apologize. My sister and her family are all moved in in TN and Sarah's sister and her family are in their new home in Maine, with their big items coming next week. As I stated in the episode I recorded what seems like months ago, the next episode featuring Oystron, INV and Mondo Pong by Piero Cavina will be released on July 15. Upcoming episodes will include Chuck Norris Superkicks and Artillery Duel by Xonox; Rocky and Bullwinkle (unreleased), Kool-Aid Man, and Super Challenge Football by M Network; and Swordquest Waterworld and Swordquest Airworld (vaporware) by Atari. If you have any feedback for any of these games or any I've already covered (see the link for Jose's amazing spreadsheet for my show), send it to 2600gamebygame@comcast.net. Thank you for listening, and thank you again for your understanding and support.

TGAHP 14: The Beast In Black
In this episode that scared me as a child, Ralph, Bill and the kids are allowed to remove anything of value from an old house that is about to be demolished. Things go wrong right away however as it seems that the house is haunted. Ralph discovers that the suit allows him to enter the fourth dimension where he is confronted with a terrifying beast and a ghost that doesn't want to leave. Will Ralph get a projector from his class? Will Bill forever be possessed by an evil ghost? Will this horror episode released around Christmas time scar children for life? The answers to these questions and more in the latest episode of The Greatest American Hero Podcast.

Awards: Recognition, Shows, Relevance
As E3 arrives, Glenn asks Jay and Rob about video game awards and their feelings on them. Does a Game of the Year award really mean anything with so many media outlets doling them out? What are the high and low points of gaming awards shows? Is there a gaming equivalent to the Oscar or a Grammy, and does there need to be? Plus, Rob gets the guys to do a little voiceover work to promote "Nintendo Quest".

The episode 100 contest has been extended until episode 102, so please get your entries in to win the Atari 2600 with a bunch of games to me by June 16th. Today's episode is all about Shootin' Gallery and Riddle of the Sphinx, both by Imagic. Next time I will be covering Phoenix and Vanguard by Atari. In the coming weeks I will be looking at Oystron, INV and INV+, and Mondo Pong, all of which are homebrews by Piero Cavina; Chuck Norris Superkicks and Artillery Duel by Xonox; Rocky and Bullwinkle (unreleased), Kool-Aid Man, and Super Challenge Football by M Network; and Swordquest Waterworld and Swordquest Airworld (vaporware) by Atari. If you have any feedback for any of these games or any I've already covered (see the link for Jose's amazing spreadsheet for my show), send it to 2600gamebygame@comcast.net. Thank you for listening!

Collecting Conundrums
Rob, Jay, and Glenn return with more musings on the topic of collecting. When does collecting begin? Do world records count as a collection? What are the guys' favourite shopping experiences when it comes to picking up new and classic games? Plus, Glenn asks Rob how a gamer should pitch non-gamer friends on "Nintendo Quest", Rob challenges Jay to put a value on his collection, and Jay gets asked The Question: Star Wars vs. Star Trek.

Episode 36: Shreddin’ with Brendan
Download Episode 36: “Shreddin’ with Brendan” Here!
Ed wasn’t the only video game obsessed kid growing up in his house – his younger brother Brendan was always right beside him, playing the same games and loving the same tunes. This week, Brendan joins his brother Ed and Mike, and brings along some rockin’ tunes of his own! There’s a lot of guitar-heavy tracks from titles like Guilty Gear and Guitar Freaks this time around, and Ed and Brendan reminisce about their shared childhoods and growing up as gamers. Enjoy!
